Well spec wise, I have a vega 56 but the laptop version, ryzen 2700, Acer mobo. I have the morpheus ii installed on my Vega 56, it is dead silent now and fans rarely exceed 800rpm and it is very cold. The Rx Vega Hot Spot temperature has caused a lot of grief and confusion for Vega 56 and Vega 64 owners, especially since there doesn't seem to be any official documented information regarding what the hot spot is, and what its purpose is. One of the fans on my gpu also broke after less than a year of usage. On a ~22C day the core hits high 50's to low 60's and the Hot Spot doesnt pass 82 C. 05V, on EK FC block with 240 + 360 slim rads, I'm getting < 50 C on GPU, > 55 C on HBM and < 70 C on the hotspot (spiking to 73 C on a rare occasion), in Witcher 3. However the card now throttles extremely heavly as soon as I put it 106 C is how warm the hotspot on my XFX Vega 64 Liquid Edition gets. Why? I'd *LOVE* to buy a Vega 56 or Vega 64 especially to compare with my 1080, and the Vega platform is pretty solid. #2. That made it run way cooler (core-hotspot delta at 7-10C) but HBM temp seems way closer to hotspot, only 2-3C difference. >PC< GPU: Radeon RX vega 56. The card is designed to go as hot on the Hotspot. IDK if YMMV but it worked for me and hopefully it will for you.
